The Schoolhouse Teachers offers a class, titled “Daily Writing” by Sharon Watson.
As of last Friday God gave me a daily writing assignment. He has encouraged me to do writing prompts. As soon as he mentioned it I remembered this class. Today was my first day. Here’s a excerpt from today’s writing assignment:

January 22 Writer’s Grab Bag: Freewriting

Write everything that comes to mind when you hear the word “forest.” You can write
words, phrases, or sentences. Don’t overthink this it’s just a freewriting exercise designed to loosen the cobwebs.

I did this exercise then was motivated to write about Walks in the Woods. A two page paper about walks I took when I was a teenager with my irish setter, Cindy.

If you are a writer or have a budding writer in your house I so encourage you to try
these out! 😉
I just now realized I did a writing prompt from the Elementary to Middle School level. LOL
Oh well it was still good! 😀
